srisrianna has left for delhi after completing brindavan holi uthsavam. the devotees had a great time. many are returning in a day or two and we here are eager to hear all the stories.the paranur kolahalan temple kumbabishegam is to be held for three days starting from april fourth. i wish to remind devotees that it is a rare event in ones life time and not to miss it. it is going to be a gala celebration with kolahalan. of course srisrianna.org has planned to cover all the three days. let srisri bless us, so that we all meet in the kumbabishegam.

i met my brother yesterday and he had a nice thing to tell. he was taking srisri in his car to thiruthangaal a divya desam near sivakasi. the temple car uthsavam was on that day. just as they reached the temple, the car was ready to start. the people were delighted to see srisri and invited him to do the pooja. the timing of srisri's arrival was so perfect that my brother and others were ecstatic. srisri also climbed the makeshift wooden steps to have darshan of perumal. after the darshan he came back. as he was half way down the steps my brother thought "if only i could help srisri coming down it will be a bagyam" the very next moment srisri caught hold of his hands and with his help came down two steps, then let go off his hands and walked down the rest of the steps on his own. my brother was shocked and delighted to his roots. is there a quicker and better way to satisfy a devotee.

flash news from brindavan says srisri anna had a great holi with the devotees. srisrianna enjoyed spraying holi powder and water on all the devotees. this time jaganmohan went in a small boat around in a small tank of water celebrating what we call here "theppothsavam". rasam also went very well. we will hear more news soon.

yesterday i was going on a distant trip in my car along with my mother. we were hearing srisri annas "nachiar thirumozhi" we both were enjoying the discourse and the travel was so pleasurable. at one point srisrianna was saying about a friend of Nachiar. this friend used to be very near to nachiar, she was her confident and nachiar would say all about her love only to her, the two were insepareable... so on , srisri continued keeping in suspense the identity of the friend. at that time we could hear the sweet sound of some birds in the background . after seconds srisri in his discourse said "her friend was the beautifull Parrot". myself and mom looked at each other and said at the same time "hey we heard the sound of a parrot even before srisri said it in upanyasam" we both were thrilled. the sound of the bird in the bakground was there for some time !!

on the way back we continued hearing the cassette. srisri was talking about nachiar's dream of marrying perumal. we were so absorbed in the discourse. at one point nachiar describes how she was holding perumals hand and they both put pori or puffed rice in the homam . the smoke that came out filled the place... at this point a dense cloud of smoke descended the car and we could not even see the road. though the car came out of it in seconds it took a long time for our heart to beat normal.

received a call from brindavan. srisrianna and the devotees are having a great time there. two bagavatha sapthahams are being conducted at the same time. holi is celebrated tommorow at premamadhuri kunj. it is joyous to even think about holi. let us pray srisri that we are all blessed to see the photos soon.

my family has gone to Brindavan with srisri. Today being ekadesi four of us friends thought we will have a small bajan. The songs that were randomly picked were ultimate ones and the bajan was so nice. 'Suhayathi Me Hrudhayam sukumaraha' took us all to Brindavan. Gurunatha you have given our heart so much joy. We are not able bear the joy. You are in Brindavan and when we think of you and sing your songs you pour your love from that land of love to us. 'Suhayathi me hruthaayam' We could proceed no longer after this song. Premikendra Sathgurunatha Maharaj Ki jai.

Day before yesterday i started on a sudden trip to chennai by train. The compartment was not crowded and in my bay there was no one. I was writing about Paranur and Bakthakolahalan. By the grace of srisri it was getting very interesting and i felt as if i was in sathsangh. One by one whatever i know about Paranur and Kolahalan came to my mind. there was no one to disturb me and no one to even ask me to switch off the light. I went on writing late into the night and felt as if i was in Paranur itself. Gurunatha you give sathsangh even if we are alone, you alone can do that.....

SriSriAnna we heard, completed the Pandari program and on 3rd march night started to pune. He stayed there in a devotees house for two days. On 5th Mar he started from Pune and reached Brindavan at night. He is now at Brindavan and enjoying the few days that are left before the holi uthsavam which starts on 10th March.

The sunday has started very nicely. SriSri is in pandari for the third day. He is leaving for delhi and Brindavan after that. Yesterday after india won the match against pakistan i had the urge to run to srisri and shout "anna india has won". I know i am mad but what i felt is true. how would anna react to that!
The Sunday started well with prabhodhanam. The Prabhodhanam songs of SriSri again and again reminds one of SriSri and Paranur. Maybe oneday i will try to write what thought each line of the prabhodhanam evokes. I also heard SriSri's Bagavatha Parayanam through cassette. The flow of words is like the flow of yamuna. this being the night of shivarathri i thought i will log in and add something. SriSri Anna will be doing Abishekam to Pandarinathan and it is nice to sit here and visualize it. We were sitting and singing songs on Shiva including those written by srisri in my mother in laws house. My wife who entered the pooja room suddenly shouted "come here come here ", i ran inside and she showed me a picture of srisri doing abishekam. he was doing abishegam for a small pandarinathan and rukumayi. we were all thrilled and our hearts flew directly to pandari. the photo is there for a long time but only today we realised that the abishegam was for pandarinathan and not for krishnan as earlier assumed. Pandari Kshthra ki jai. Premikendra Sathgurunath maharaj ki Jai !!!!!

Happy New Year to one and all. SriSri Anna is at Paranur now. The Margazhi uthsavam starts on 5th January. SriSri anna sings the Keerthanavalli and Divyaprabhandan. It is a uthsavam filled with "bhavam" . I met Srisri at paranur on dec30th morning. It was ekadesi. since it is the margali month the prabhodhanam starts early at 5:00 am. there were very few devotees and it was wonderful to see the saligram abishegam and kolahalan archana. i could not stay for the abishegam and discourse and left paranur int the morning itself. but my heart was so full of srisri and i came back drenched in krupa. paranur,ekadesi,kolahalan,srisri what a combination.

SriSri Anna came to madurai by car on Dec-2. Sri padmanaban anna received him near the Azhagar koil entrance. Anna was in a very happy mood. He had a very good swamy darshan. He reached "Gokulam" after the darshan. The madurai devotees started arriving one by one. Anna asked Murali Mohan "what program will we have today" and said "we will have a parayanam of Bagavath Geetha". So the Geetha Parayanam started. It was wonderful to hear the whole Geetha in a single go. Anna enjoyed it thoroughly. after the parayanam the pooja was performed and srisri went to take some rest. The evening session began with a upanyasam. today the treat was "Kuchelo Bagyanam". It was a very soul rendering upanyasam and srisri took all the devotees to a state of bliss. Fortunate are those maduari devotees who were drenched in the outpour. After the upanysam Anna took some food and started to Madurai to catch his train to Tiruvanandapuram.All the devotees had come to the station to send off Anna. The Quilon mail going to Trivandrum also started late giving ample time for the devotees to enjoy with anna. Finally the train started and the devotees bid farewell to srisri. "Oh what a day it was " they could be seen talking to one another. Sathguru Krupa smarane sugam!!!

Wish you all a Happy Deepavali. SriSri is at Srirangam celebrating Deepavali. One of my friends has gone to have darshan. I will write more about what happened during his visit after talking to him. Thinking of Diwali I remember SriSri calling me this Brahmothsavam and giving some crackers to fire during Kolahalans purapaadu. SriSri Smarane sugam.

Whatever be the occassion we try to associate it with SriSriAnna. It is Gandhi Jeyanthi today. SriSri has always talked very high of Gandhiji in his upanyasam's. Once he said "kaiyile kambum vayile rama namum kondu sudandiram vangi koduthar " ( He got us freedom just by having a stick in his hand and rama nama in his mouth) Gandhiji read the Bagavatham everyday. SriSri had been to the Gandhi memorial and the Bagavatham book he had been reading was displayed . The page he had read last before being shot was kept open. SriSri looked at the book and found that Gandhiji had read "Gajendra Moksham" the day before being shot !!. SriSri would tell how high he felt about Gandhiji that day seeing the book. SriSri used to say that he fully deserved being referred to as "Mahathma Gandhiji"
